MARTELLE
OLSEN,
Case Manager, holds a Bachelor of Science in Public
Administration (Health and Human Services) from the University of
Arizona, and earned her Masters Certificate in Gerontology in 2002.
Her favorite part of her job is working with wards, and Martelle
would like to pursue a degree in counseling someday.Born in Brigham City, Utah (though she lived in South Africa until the age of five), Martelle has a deep appreciation for beautiful scenery. She loves camping, hiking, fishing, and golfing. Her other interests include reading, glassblowing, and spending as much time as possible with her five-year-old daughter (whose own interests at present are princesses, horses, and snakes).
Bill graduated from Trenton State College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He has completed graduate coursework in social work and special education and rehabilitation at the University of Arizona and Arizona State University. He was previously employed by Child Protective Services, where he served as guardian for foster children. Bill’s other professional experience includes counseling Tohono O’odham children and their families on the reservation, and working with children and adults with disabilities and mental illness. Most sunrises will find Bill walking his two dogs. He enjoys movies, meditation, and hikes. He recently purchased a house that he is fixing up rather slowly.
In addition to traveling (anywhere with blue water!), Sonia’s hobbies include running, shopping and hiking, and she has recently taken up ballroom dance. The rest of her time is consumed in caring for her two Italian Greyhounds. |
